Absent: Bob Locher

Guests: Cyndy Naragon, Chris Reidel

Meeting called to order by Olexa at 7:30pm. No recorder as Locher absent.

Minutes from 010208 – Motion by Vereb/2^nd by Bican to approve the 010208 Minutes as presented, voted taken, all in favor, motion carried, 010208 Minutes approved.

Old Business:

Moats: case filed, no dates set.

Kissling: nothing.

Schmitt: nothing.

James: no building started to date. Vereb believes survey completed.

Byers: nothing.

Symes: nothing, Vereb believes survey completed about 3 weeks ago.

Heffelman: 171 Rockridge – trash cans – owner has 30 days to pay after 010208, Reidel reports their trash was not picked up the last 2 times, although it was picked up this week, concern about lawnmowers in yard, zoning would like Locher to stop by and speak with owner. Michelson has advised we could recommend an ordinance regarding lawnmowers – that they be stored where not visible from the front. Options discussed. Zoning requests that Locher discuss with Michelson and for Michelson to obtain copies of ordinances fro us to review. Reidel believes Gloria Glens has a lawnmower ordinance.

115 Clovercliff: padlocks on it, boarded up, Sheriff Sale 022208, Locher plans to identify the new owner on 022308 and send letter to same.

117 Clovercliff: Bank owned, pulled from Sheriff Sale last month per Naragon.

New Business:

Wynot: Per Reidel; Ciccolini renters (Circle Crest) trash is blowing all over, Locher please send a notice to the owner about containing trash.

Keith Reidel: application and check for zoning permit to redo the flat roof on his garage. Originals taken by Wharton to get to Locher.

54 Willowood: firewood cutter, John Ellsasser – wood too close to street, Zickefoose will handle.

Junk vehicles: Locher issued letters on 020408 to 429 Northvale, Shorefield, Clovercliff, 271 Rustic Rook (truck & mowers) and 273 Rustic Rook (inoperable boat and trailer with weeds growing through it – perhaps noxious weed ordinance violation?)

Clarkson: Shorefield dumpster has been removed.

Schmitt: Jeff contacted Osborn and Wharton via telephone to complain or inquire about the construction and dumpster at Chris Reidel’s property on Bungalow Bay. Osborn, Keith Reidel and Locher went to property, at this point only carpentry work being completed. However, as part of the renovation there is an intended loft, discussed with Michelson who advised permit would be needed for that. For electrical work, county permit needed. Discussion on whether building permit needed. Reidel applied and Locher scanned permit, signed by Wharton. Wharton requests that all notes from telephone conversations and or emails with Village residents be maintained by the taker.

Chris Reidel: given permit.

Tom James: advised that a builder was questioning the Park District on the “buildability” of 3 parcels in Block B – whether or not they block could be subdivided and if so, how many “lake rights” would be available.

Village: Reidel, Olexa and Mayor Dodaro shared drawings of proposed Village hall.

Motion by Vereb, 2^nd by Osborn to adjourn meeting, vote taken, motion carried, and meeting adjourned at 8:16 pm.
